Description of the project:

The biggest difficulty in production is currently drilling and milling of the components, which are still done completely manually. The positions are drawn on the components using manual measuring tools, and then they are processed on manual/traditional machines. This process is very slow and prone to errors. Furthermore, the available accuracy is not sufficient in today’s standards. The desired equipment would perform these operations automatically, with high precision and without errors, and would finish the components. Currently, 50% of the production time is spent on manual measurement and drawing, which would completely disappear with the purchase of the machine, and the production process itself would also speed up. Approximately 75% more components could be produced in the same amount of time. This would open up opportunities for the development and production of new products. The components produced with the equipment are the first step in the in-house production of the company, and these components are further welded, painted, and assembled. However, we have reached our limits and the other participants in the production regularly wait for these components. Therefore, the acquisition of the equipment would not only lead to expansion in the first operation, but also in the entire production process. To operate the equipment efficiently, the company will need at least 2 people: a trained machine operator who provides the professional background, supports software programming with their experience, maintains and services the equipment, and a highly qualified mechanical engineer who writes the programs, coordinates the production on the equipment, and also supervises quality assurance. At present, however, we have reached our limits and other production participants are regularly waiting for these parts. So, by acquiring the device, expansion can be achieved not only at the first operation, but also in the entire production process. For the efficient operation of the equipment, at least 2 people will be needed at the company: a qualified machine machiner who provides the professional background and supports software programming, maintains and serves the equipment with his experience. As well as a highly qualified mechanical engineer who writes programs, coordinates production on the equipment, and oversees quality assurance.

Description of the project:

Our company, with the design, production and distribution of vertical panel saw machines so far, represents an outstanding and unique place both in Hungary and Eastern Europe. The field of use of these machines is primarily the wood industry and metal industry. We carry out the installation of our machines and the replacement of worn-out parts in our own service as an additional service. Our market position is outstanding, as we are the only ones producing such vertical sheet cutting machines in Eastern Europe. Today we can say that we have satisfied customers using ETALON sheet cutting machines in several countries from Ecuador to Malaysia. Sales are made directly domestically and through resellers abroad. Constantly paying attention to domestic and foreign demands, we started the development of a newer, more advanced technology based on sheet cutting machine already 2 years ago. We are prepared for the production of the new CNC controlled Beam Saw Machine (in different sizes and types). There are already orders for new machines, which we cannot serve without the implementation of this complex investment. Our contracted foreign resellers are already waiting to start distribution. An indispensable condition for this is to significantly increase our production space, otherwise we will not be able to fit in addition to the production of existing vertical panel saw machines, with the production of new products (CNC-controlled Beam Saw machines).

The expansion of our production capacity requires the procurement of new machines:

• overhead crane (for internal movement of manufactured machines and their components)
• paint-drying booth (to surface treat the components of our machines in compliance with the strictest environmental regulations)
• welding machine (we will need a high-performance industrial machine that can work continuously in multiple shifts)
• forklift (for moving within and outside the production process, loading onto trucks, which cannot be done with the overhead crane)
• machine design software (for designing the components of our manufactured machines, technical drawings, and creating user/operating instructions)

Our capacity expansion investments and the introduction of new products require the expansion of our production facility by 497.5 sqm net floor area. After the extension to our existing facility, we will have a total of 801.61 sqm of production space, which will serve our product development and manufacturing in the long term.
By combining our applied technologies (existing and new) with the expansion of our facility, we can not only increase but also optimize the production process. Our investment is justified by the fact that, thanks to our product development, we can expand our customer base at the international level. This will strengthen our position in the relevant market, and our income-generating capacity and business results will increase, as we can increase our manufacturing capacity from a minimum of 10 machines per year to at least 30 machines per year. Our revenue will double within two years. Our workforce will expand and undergo restructuring, as the investment will enable us to switch to a 2-shift work schedule, requiring additional labor in production and service.
