Complex Standard System

The central element of the system is, of course, the CNC beam saw. Our product range includes various sizes of machines. In our opinion, the most practical one is the ETALON Highline 3800-80. The 3800mm cutting width is sufficient so that standard-sized pieces cut in the first cutting series do not need to be stacked on top of each other, but can be left on the air cushion tables on the left side of the machine. After that, they can be conveniently turned for back cutting on the right side of the machine. The need for a 3800mm cutting width is not because we want to cut such large pieces, but to facilitate and speed up the processing of the material.

It is also not insignificant that the material does not need to be stacked and moved aside, so it does not get damaged. In this case, the recommended cutting depth (movement of the gripper row) is 3200mm, as the size of the material does not justify a larger machine, and thus a lot of space can be saved in the workshop. The disc clearance is 80mm, allowing for cutting of 3 panels at once, which is ideal for both custom and batch cutting. This does not only mean that three panels are placed in the machine at once, but also that the same rotations within one panel can be placed on top of each other.

An essential part of the system is a professional office optimization software, which can be purchased for the ETALON Highline 3800-80 machine. Without the office software, the cutting plan would have to be entered and optimized directly on the machine, resulting in valuable time loss as the machine cannot cut during optimization. Therefore, it is worth preparing the cutting plan at least one day in advance in the office and preparing it for the machine so that the machine does not stand idle unnecessarily.

The prepared panels for cutting can be stacked and sorted by color on the ETALON’s own panel transport trolley. The easily movable trolley has the advantage of vertically storing 10 panels, saving a lot of space in the workshop.

To make this system truly one-person operated, a loading device is also needed, and the ETALON vacuum lifter is a perfect choice. In many cases, preserving the panels is also an important consideration when choosing, as there will be no more scratches due to sliding. It is recommended to choose the 90kg version and the tiltable variant, eliminating all limitations.

The beam saw also includes a dust extraction system. Our self-manufactured extractor is specifically designed for the panel saw. It does not operate unnecessarily when it is connected to the system. It only works when it is actually needed, i.e., during cutting. In addition to keep the workshop’s air clean, we have also paid attention to energy efficiency and reducing noise pollution.
